the city and famous people

i walk, ride my bike or take the bus down this street everyday to work-i love the bright colors of the buildings. you can see the big church in the background.
downtown. there's a big photography display in this park with pictures from iceland, greenland, and the faeroe islands that are really nice.
bjork's house. she has the main floor and someone else owns the upstairs. it's nice location (and only 1.5 blocks from my house), but not a very impressive house for such a famous singer. she lives in london but she was in town recently--my roommate was at a coffeeshop and bjork sat right next to her! people don't make that big of a deal about famous people here. another famous person in iceland right now is clint eastwood, he's filming the movie "flag of our fathers." my friend from work met him at a party and a few guys from work are extras in the movie; they're filming soldier scenes right now (you have to get a hair cut or i'd volunteer).
