cultural festival

yesterday was the reykjavik cultural festival. jamie and i started off the day by running a 10 km race as part of the reykjavik marathon (over 4,000 people participated with over 1,300 people in the 10 km run).
there were warmups before the start

in the afternoon i walked around with maria and gunnar. the streets were packed with people and baby buggies. there were concerts and events going on all day on the street and in most businesses.

we had dinner at eyrun's house

and then watched the fireworks
